Leiden Bio Science Park is the leading life science cluster in the Netherlands and ranks among the top five most successful science parks in Europe. It is fully dedicated to biomedical life science and offers opportunities for both start-ups and established companies.

Leiden: Life Meets Science is the marketing and facilitary support organization for the Leiden Bio Science Park. They contacted Paladin to design a presentation tool, suitable for conventions, seminars and to give away to prospects and representatives.

The 3D project is a highly interactive visualisation of a large area with dozens of companies. Time was short – the entire project was done in six weeks. LLMS needed the visuals for a stand on a BioTech convention in Berlin. After a fair deal of brainstorming we got to the core of their need: to place the Leiden Bio Science Park on the world map as a cluster of life science companies.

LLMS decided to go for an interactive presentation, as it has many uses:

• It is displayed on a large LCD screen on life science conventions;
• For one-on-one conversations, it is used as a visual aid to confirm and enhance the hi-tech image of the bio science park;
• It is a gift to prospects and clients, given on a USB stick;
• It is an addition to the regular graphics and brochures on the website;
• It serves as an enhancement to the standard powerpoint presentations.

LLMS considers it to be a succesful project, and uses it in many ways for their marketing and communications.
