Pickering Player on national TV

Yes! The virtual environment “Pickering Player” has been released to the public. Pickering Player is a bonus feature of the new BLØF cd “Oktober”, and contains an interactive 3D environment with bonus media clips.

On October 2nd, the evening before the release, the project was featured on national television:

Already we can say that the project is a tremendous success. With thousands of visitors and national press coverage, we could hardly wish for more. A demo of the application can be found on PickeringPlayer.nl.

We will cover the project in more detail as soon as the dust settles a bit. Stay tuned!

BLØF – Virtual Experience

The past months, we have teamed up with Streamline Studios and EMI Music to create a virtual environment for the new Oktober album release of BLØF. As the release is approaching, the scoop is featured on Picnic and online news sites.

We recorded the whole recording-process in multi-angle-video. We put the video-content in a special interface, so that people can be literally part of the recording-process. It’s possible to look over the shoulder of our lead-singer while he is singing the very song (and that very same take) that you hear on the album. This whole new project is web based, updateable and accessable only by inserting the physical CD in you computer and log in. The CD acts as a physical key.

You will be able to read all about this project on paladinstudios.com soon, so stay tuned!
